I follow Lovino down a hallway. I've had a crush on him for as long as I can remember. The problem is he doesn't seem too enthusiastic about me.
"This is the first time I have ever felt this way." I say to him.
"You should start smaller." He says coldly.
"I want to be the one closest to you!" I plead.
"Go away."
I get tense all of the sudden. I try talking to him but the words chocked up in my throat.
"Will you speak up if you have something to say to me dammit?!" he yells.
"I-I want to know what you think of me." He scowls at me.
"I'll just tell you to go Google it."
I gather up my courage and I start asking everything I want to know.
"What is your email?"
"Go Google it."
"Where do you live?"
"Go Google it."
"What do you like?
"Go Yahoo! Google it."
"Can I see you again?"
"Go Google it."
"Do you eat eggplant?"
"What does that have to do with anything? Go Google it."
"Who do you like?"
At this question, Lovino turns tomato red.
"I can't tell you that…"
***
(Lovino's POV)
She'll never act proper enough will she? Can't she see that I'm not interested? But her determination is kind of cute in a way. What am I thinking? I'm so confused! I see her on her computer, playing a song I wrote on a continuous loop.
"I think you should quit your day job." I tell her.
She giggles at this.
"What's so funny?"
"Every time you talk, it makes you even more cute."
"Will you go home already? You're just being a nuisance!"
"I know you're not really thinking that." She winks at me.
"I'll just tell to go Google it." I reply curtly
She smiles at this and starts asking me a bunch of questions.
"What's your size?"
"Go Google it."
"Briefs or boxers?"
"WHAT- I mean, Go Google it." I say with a blush on my cheeks.
"Are you wearing any?"
"Go happily Google it."
"I'll always like you."
"W-what's that?
"Actually I'll always love you."
That one gets to me. I almost want to give her a hug and tell her that I love her too. Fortunately I hold myself back.
"Goodbye."
"That's what I feel Lovi." I use my hands to cover my bright red face.
"I already know that." I mumble
Damn! My heart can't lie to itself forever. I love and hate the way she acts towards me that much I can understand. She reminds me of my previous caretaker Antonio.
"Wow Lovi, your face is as red as a tomato!"
She really is a lot like him.
"Okay before you get the wrong idea, my face is red from eating a lot of ripe tomatoes earlier!"
"That's not really the truth."
"It really is."
"You really love me."
"You're just being stupid! You don't need to Google my feelings because… Oh fuck this! YOU WIN! I LOVE YOU!"
"I knew it!"
"Stop gloating."
